As reported by Redanian Intelligence – an excellent hub for all things related to The Witcher – an early season two episode will bring a Myriapod (or Myriapodan) to life. Those of you who are familiar with the games may well remember these giant centipede-like creatures from The Witcher 3: Blood And Wine. One such creature also appears in Sword Of Destiny, a short story featuring one of Geralt and Ciri’s earliest meetings. It’s entirely possible showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich plans to adapt this specific story as part of a flashback in season two.
