Genesis is Hyundai’s luxury brand. The Genesis name first appeared on a flagship Hyundai sedan beginning with the 2009 model year. After that, it morphed into the South Korean automaker’s luxury division beginning in 2017 with a two-model lineup, the G80 and G90 sedans.
