As reported by GI.biz, the study ran from September 23rd to the 25th, and used a sample of 511 US-based respondents, representative of the US general gaming population. Shockingly, just 15% of respondents said that they’d secured a pre-order for a next-gen console. Within that group, 72% opted for the disc edition of the PS5. 30% chose the Xbox Series X. 10% went for the PS5 digital edition, and 8% for the Xbox Series S.
