Live coverage: SpaceX’s Transporter 8 rideshare mission lifts off from California

SpaceX launched a cluster of 72 small payloads for customers in at least 18 countries into polar orbit from California Monday on the company’s eighth small satellite rideshare mission. The mission, known as Transporter 8, lifted off at 2:35 p.m. PDT (5:35 p.m. EDT; 2135 UTC).
