NASA’s final pair of TROPICS hurricane research satellites is set for launch on a Rocket Lab Electron booster Thursday night (U.S. time) from New Zealand. The two identical shoebox-size spacecraft are awaiting liftoff during a launch window opening at 11:30 p.m. EDT Thursday (0330 UTC Friday) from Rocket Lab’s privately-owned spaceport on Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand.
