This is according to leaker Tom Henderson, who claimed on Twitter that the 2021 game will be “another Modern Warfare title of some kind”, or at the very least feature a modern day setting. Whether or not this new entry will be developed by Infinity Ward remains to be seen, but I’d imagine it will be. As Henderson says, it’s early days.
